Affable, Technical, Curious
I’m an affable technologist, focused for many years on the use of technology - in particular chat, but also meetings and media - to further collaboration and organizational development. My interest and efforts began during the BBS and mainframe forum era and developed across the networked forums into the IRC period and beyond to the present day.
I played a key part in the development of Parlano MindAlign as it was decoupled from Swissbank, including technical adjustments for extraction from a single enterprise, IP wrangling, patent protection, and business and product management. MindAlign subsequently became the core of Microsoft’s Group Chat and Persistent Chat products. In my most recent professional project, I worked with UBS in support of legacy chat services, the adoption of newer chat tools, and migration from its multiple legacy platforms.

Outside of my professional career, I’ve a keen interest in music and film, as well as working hard on reasoning with the multiple felines in my life. One of these has borne less success.
